Parish church of Nagylózs in 360°

This cemetary chapel dedicated to King St. Stephen was built by King Ladislaus according to the popular tradition. Its sanctuary is Romanesque (13th century),while the nave and the small tower is gothic (14th century). The chapel was partially rebuilt in the 18th century and was restored in 1982.

There is a medieval carved stoned-head placed along the frame of the side-door. Interior of the chapel is rather plain, lacking any kind of historic frescoes or statues.

3.1. By plane

The nearest airport is FlyBalaton located at Sármellék. FlyBalaton is reachable usually during summer via charter flights from several cities in Germany and from Moscow. The large international airport of Hungary, Liszt Ferenc Airport is in the suburbs of the capital, Budapest.

3.2. By car

If arriving at Budapest, follow M1 toll-highway from Budapest  to Győr, turn to Sopron on road 85 but beore reaching the town, select road 84 in the direction of Sárvár.
